Rajiv Shah Joins Cast of Thriller "The Subscriber"

Rajiv Shah has been cast in the upcoming thriller feature "The Subscriber," alongside Garrett Clayton from the Teen Beach franchise, The Hollywood Reporter has exclusively learned.

Shah joins a cast that includes Clayton, Lisagaye Tomlinson (Good Trouble), Mario Silva (The Freelancer), Ron Rogge (Stranger Things), Robin Curtis (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock), Kipp Tribble (Rebroken), and Xiomara Yordan (Gina Yei). The project's previously announced cast members include Eddie McClintock, Billy Morrison, Naomi Grossman and Spencer Garrett.

The Subscriber centers on a high-end escort who, after witnessing the death of a wealthy client, kidnaps a burglar in a panic while trying to flee the premises. Things get worse when they return to remove the evidence and find themselves in high-stakes confrontations with a gangster and the client's wife.

Director Ivo Raza (Reboot Camp) helms the movie from a script he co-wrote with Fran DiMeo. Filming is set to begin next month. DiMeo, Tribble and Garrett produce the project with co-producer David Roberson.

"We have an incredible ensemble that will bring more than quality performances to every role," Raza says. "They are bringing authenticity."

Shah is represented by Susan Zachary of The Zachary Co.
